Tommy Wiseau just wanted to share a message of love before he was stopped from going to the microphone on Sunday night when James Franco won a Golden Globe for his performance in The Disaster Artist

Franco, who won best actor in a motion picture musical or comedy, plays Wiseau in the film about the making of The Room, a cult favorite considered to be the best-worst film ever made.

Wiseau, known for being a character, tried to get to the mic when he was invited up on stage by Franco during his acceptance speech, but he was stopped cold in his tracks by Franco.

Social media exploded at the moment; some saying it was wise because Wiseau is sometimes peculiar, others upset the man who the film is about didn’t get to say something.

It seems we now know what he was going to say.

Not long after the moment, Wiseau tweeted from his verified Twitter account, “If a lot of people love each other the world will be a better place to live!”

He later confirmed to The L.A. Times that is what he was planning to say on stage.
